The owner wanted the feel of a European villa with touches of Santa Fe style. The use of centuries old roof tile, cast stone parapet caps, iron work, and Mexican granite pavers achieved that feel. The views are all the way to Colorado to the north, and the Sangre de Cristo ski basin to the east.
